We also engineer our SpaceLoft mezzanines to meet other standards for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including BOCA, UBC, and SBCA. Our steel designs meet AISC's strict codes, with a sizeable safety factor built in. ASTM A36 and A500 structural steel is used for the ideal combination of mass, thickness, and strength characteristics. ASTM A325 hardened steel bolts and fasteners are utilized for the greatest strength at all critical locations. SpaceLoft mezzanines can be structured for a virtually limitless range of load capacities. Standard design for deflection is no greater than L/360 of the span, but can be decreased if desired. Alternate Materials As an alternate, Schmidt can provide mezzanines in all-aluminum or all- stainless steel construction if environmental conditions warrant it. Please contact your Regional Manager for details on specifications for aluminum or stainless construction. Installation And Project Management Nut and bolt assembly of SpaceLoft mezzanines allows quick installation by Schmidt Structural Product's authorized installer, or by your own staff, using only hand tools. On larger projects, Schmidt can provide project management along with installation supervision, to ensure timely delivery, installation, and integration with other trades. When installed by Schmidt's authorized installer, SpaceLoft mezzanines are available with a Lifetime Warranty. |
