Standard handrail from Schmidt Structural Products is fabricated from square steel tube, painted safety yellow.

Schmidt Structural Products mezzanine handrail can be fabricated to meet any project specifications. The standard color is safety yellow but handrails are available in any of Schmidt's 24 standard colors. Handrails are sold at a per lineal foot price and can be cut to size in the field.

Stair handrails are not sold without the stair unless it is replacing damaged or worn handrail onstairs.

mezzanine handrails Standard handrail from Schmidt Structural Products is fabricated from 1½" x 14 gauge square steel tube, painted safety yellow. Posts are designed for 6' centers, and all tube openings are fitted with plastic caps to eliminate sharp edges.

Handrail is attached to the mezzanine deck simply with nut and bolt and TEK screw design. Horizontal rails fit into post tabs and are also fastened with TEK screws. All handrails include kick plate and flashing, both painted safety yellow.

Handrail is also available in 1¼" schedule 40 pipe. Fabrication and installation are identical to the square tube type. Each guardrail type is available to meet various codes, as requested, including vertical baluster and wire mesh.
